Katie Morigaki Breedlove

Katie Morigaki Breedlove is a native of Hilo, HI and is currently a graduate researcher for the Purdue Neurotrauma Group (PNG).  PNG’s current research examines the causes and prevention of mild traumatic brain injury.  Katie has also been a member of the Purdue athletic training staff since July of 2009 and is a graduate assistant in the Division of Recreation Sports while pursuing a Ph.D. in Health and Kinesiology.  From 2009 to 2011, Katie served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the Purdue softball team and she also completed internships with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2011 and 2012. Prior to coming to Purdue, Katie worked as an Intern-Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Stony Brook University football team.
